On Thursday November 10, San Marino High School held its Open House/Showcase from 5:30p.m.-8:30p.m. to promote and display all that our school has to offer.

Classrooms were open for parents to view the work their children have accomplished as well as to get to know the teachers a bit better. Link Crew walked around to help the students and parents. Not only that, but clubs and sports had booths, promoting themselves and showing prospective members what to expect if students decide to join. VAPA had various performances such as the band, color guard, and dance.

There were raffles to be drawn and prizes to be won by collecting different colored stickers from each booth. If students, teachers, and parents were hungry, they could buy food from two food trucks, Austyn’s Burgers and Paradise Ice Cream, both owned by the family of former San Marino student Kayleigh Young.

“The whole experience was so fun! It was really interesting seeing what other clubs and sports had to offer,” Rachael Wen, 12, said.
