Derek Wang is a junior and a writer of this year’s Titan Shield. As a new writer starting this year, he is excited to explore possibilities and contribute to the editions and publications. At school, Derek is a part of Key Club, MYSM, Red Cross, and Math Team. Outside of school, he also volunteers for Huntington Hospital and tutors students who need improvement in STEM subjects. Also, he loves listening to music, binging Heimler’s, and cramming for the test after procrastinating for days. He hopes to record events with journaling and capture the moments with the keyboard in his hands.
